DiSC® Supplemental Reports – Optional
The 6 Supplemental How-To Reports
*each supplemental report includes a coaching worksheet so you can create an action plan specific to the topic area.
You can choose one – or more – of these reports to print with, or add to, an existing DiSC PPSS report. Sometimes I start with the DiSC PPSS report, then, once my clients understand themselves and the DiSC Model, I’ll add one or more of the appropriate supplemental reports to support their growth over time. This is an especially approach to take if the client gets overwhelmed by a lot of data.
One tremendous advantage of the supplemental reports is that they can be added on at any time after a DiSC PPSS report has been generated. Your client does not need to re-take the assessment! The EPIC platform (the online assessment program) stores the original scores in a secure and anonymous fashion that allows you to generate supplemental reports at any time.
The supplemental reports can be thought of as pairs. Each pair includes a report that provides:
- an internal view – how the client sells, manages, or relates to others; and
- an external view – how to manage the client who is a salesperson, employee or how to create a positive relationship with the client.
Supplemental Sales Reports:
Approach to Selling (internal view): Whether you officially work in sales or not, you are influencing and persuading all day long. Wouldn’t it be helpful to understand what your natural style is – as well as learn which of your natural behaviors are most effective in specific situations? With this report you’ll create a natural development plan that will help you maximize what comes naturally, and develop or mitigate what isn’t.
Strategies for Sales Management (external view): Managing in a sales environment has unique challenges and opportunities. This report will examine your style in relation to all the key sales management skills – what you need, and what simply won’t work for you.
Supplemental Management Reports
Approach to Managing Others (internal view): How you manage others is more important than anything you might say. All of us manage based on our natural styles, but unless we are aware of this, we cannot properly evaluate why it is effective in some ways but not in others. Your action plan will address all the critical areas of management – communicating, directing, delegating, developing, decision-making, managing time, problem solving, and motivating others. Strategies for Managing (external view): This report will be helpful to you, but will be essential for your manager/supervisor. Together you will develop an accurate, effective plan incorporating the best strategies for managing you, based on your natural behavioral tendencies.
Supplemental Reports for Working With Others
Strategies for Creating a Positive Relationship (external view): People are different. The strategy you use for building a positive relationship with one person may not work with another – may even be disastrous. With the results of this report, you can skip past all the drama of a trial-and-error approach, trying to figure out what each person needs, and go straight to creating positive relationships because you start off using the most effective strategies. How much headache (and heartache) will that save?!
Relating to People and the Environment (internal view): How you communicate, make decisions, manage your time, solve problems, and handle stress, all affect your success at work, in relationships, and with yourself. Based on your current environment, you can determine the appropriateness and effectiveness of your behaviors – strengthening those that work, and modifying those that are least effective.
